-Used in formulating high – grade rust – preventive oils, low – temperature lubricants, printing
inks, fiber finishes, leather fatliquoring agents, plastic plasticizers, latex defoamers, etc. When
added to rubber – based pressure – sensitive adhesives, it can enhance permeability and improve
quick – stick force.
Cosmetics Field:
It is used in making cold creams, anti – wrinkle creams, anti – chapping creams, shampoos,
hair conditioners, hair lotions, lipsticks, and high – end soaps. It nourishes, softens, protects, and
adds moisture to hair and scalp, suiting shampoos, hair rinses, and hair – styling products. It also
disperses pigments well and binds powders effectively, being suitable for pressed products like
lipsticks and powder compacts.

Medical Field:
-As an ointment base, it helps the main drug be quickly absorbed by mucous membranes and
skin. It adheres well, has stable properties, can absorb water, and resists rancidity. It’s used to
formulate rheumatism plasters and zinc – oxide adhesive plasters. In burn dressings, it aids wound –
healing and skin repair. Additionally, it serves as a carrier for active drug ingredients, delivering
them deeper into the skin.
